Action to Love

The mysterious interplay of prayer and action in response to the Word of God is explored today in the texts from the Roman Catholic Lectionary. The action to which we are led may be like that of the saint commemorated in Mother Teresa Square in Albania or perhaps like the saint of today, Padre Pio, who was a Franciscan friar, priest, confessor, stigmatist, and mystic. Prayer for greater communion with the Divine will bring our action to love according to His Will.
