Speaking truth to power

The texts of the Roman Catholic Lectionary today bring us to the situation where faithfulness to our relationship to God my require us to use our Baptismal gift of prophesy to see life as God sees it and speak truth to power. Jeremiah is confronted with the threat of death for his action.
